If you are a creative person and have wanted to make money for your work, you may have heard something like the statements above. They may even be coming from friends or family that do not want you to fail or get hurt. Whether they mean well or not, if you want to create artwork- do it. Everyone measures success differently. It is possible that you could not be as successful as you would like to be, but you won't know unless you try.
